Shipping & Duties

Every order is sent from Osaka, Japan. What follows is how it travels, and what is — and is not — added along the way.

Where we ship

We currently ship to Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, the United States, South Korea, Malaysia and China. Some items may not be importable into certain countries; if you are unsure, please ask us before ordering.

Dispatch and delivery

Orders are dispatched within two to three business days of confirmation; at busy times this may take a little longer. International orders travel with Yamato International TA-Q-BIN, and orders within Japan with Sagawa Express. When your parcel leaves us, we email you a tracking number so you can follow its progress.

Delivery times vary by destination, and customs clearance can cause delays.

Duties and taxes

For deliveries outside Japan, duties and import taxes are calculated and paid at checkout (delivered duties paid — DDP). In principle, this means no further payment is due when your parcel arrives.

Please note: if local customs assesses an additional charge, we cannot guarantee to cover it, and we cannot guarantee a refund of duties and taxes on returned items.

Returns

If something is not right, contact us within seven days of delivery. Unused, unopened items can be returned or exchanged — the details are on our Returns & Exchanges page.
